Cardiology
The Cardiovascular Fellowship emphasizes clinical expertise built on a strong academic foundation. The program has a long tradition of producing outstanding cardiologists who are now practicing state of the art medicine in both academic and clinical settings throughout the United States.
About the Program
The Division of Cardiology believes that cardiovascular trainees learn best in an environment that combines rigorous academic and clinical training with the one on one direction and companionship of a dedicated faculty full time faculty. Each fellow is carefully selected and intensively trained to provide exceptional leadership and compassionate care in a rapidly changing field.
There is a large full-time cardiovascular section and an even larger part-time voluntary staff. The formal teaching conferences and rounds are performed by the full-time staff, all of whom have their offices on the campus.
