Checking In

Upon Your Arrival

When you arrive to check in to Westchester Medical Center, enter through the front doors of the University Hospital building and proceed to Admitting which is on the left side just off the main lobby. Make sure you bring your insurance documents and any papers retaining to your care, such as a Health Care Proxy form or Medical Power of Attorney, if applicable.

Parking

Parking is available at Westchester Medical Center in front of the main hospital building. The first 15 minutes of parking is free, after which an hourly rate is charged and then capped at a daily maximum fee. Discounted 30-day parking is also available. No Smoking Policy

Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas of Westchester Medical Center and in areas immediately adjacent to exits and entrances. Visitors may use designated smoking areas located outside the main buildings.

Cell Phones

Westchester Medical Center restricts the use of cellular telephones to public-use, non-patient care areas ONLY, such as lobbies, cafeterias and waiting rooms (unless otherwise restricted.) Please be considerate to other patients, visitors and staff when using cellular phones.
