Complete Spectrum of Care

The Neurovascular Institute offers Comprehensive Stroke and Cerebrovascular treatment that serves the Hudson Valley and beyond, providing emergency stroke and neurovascular services 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week.

We are the only comprehensive stroke and cerebrovascular center in the region and one of only a few in the United States offering comprehensive neurovascular care. Air or ground transportation is available to help facilitate patient transfers.

Located in scenic Westchester County, our 60-acre campus also includes the Medical Center's academic affiliate, New York Medical College. Westchester Medical Center is one of only 12 academic medical centers in the State of New York and is the only academic medical center and tertiary care referral center in the Hudson Valley region.

Our new, state-of-the-art flat panel detector, biplane, 3-Dimensional Interventional Neuroradiology Suite - the only one of its kind in the Hudcon Valley - is specially designed for the treatment of neurovascular disease. In addition, dedicated Stroke and Neuroscience Intensive Care Units provide the most advanced Neurocritical Care.

A multidisciplinary team of neurosurgeons, neurologists, diagnostic and interventional neuroradiologists, critical care intensivists, and anesthesiologists provide highly specialized care for all aspects of neurovascular disease. Our physicians have access to the latest technologies and the most advanced techniques enabling them to provide patients with the best care possible.

Through coordination with referring physicians, a multidisciplinary staff and advanced diagnostic, medical and surgical services, our experts work together to provide the most comprehensive treatment available for patients requiring advanced neurovascular care. Our physicians work closely with referring physicians and provide a rapid and thorough evaluation of patients with all neurovascular disorders. Each patient's case is discussed at a Neurovascular conference, where a personalized treatment plan is developed based on the individual patient's needs.
