Dina R. Katz, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Senior Attending Cardiologist at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center
Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at New York Medical College

Dr. Katz is a graduate of The Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel. She completed her internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Afterwards, she completed her fellowship at Westchester County Medical Center in New York where she was awarded the Recognition and Appreciation of Excellence in Teaching and Dedication to the House staff. Having performed cardiac catheterizations at the Westchester County Medical Center from 1994-2005 she has brought her invasive background to her non-invasive cardiology practice.

After completing her fellowship, Dr. Katz became board certified in the subspecialty of Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. Dedicated to education in medicine, Dr. Katz is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the New York Medical College. She is actively involved in clinical medicine with an interest in preventive cardiology, women’s health and patient education. Dr.Katz was also the Co-Editor of the award-winning national consumer heart-health newsletter, Heart & Health Reports.
