Oncology and Hematology

About the Program

The Hematology/Medical Oncology fellowship under the directorship of Dr. Robert G. Lerner focuses on training outstanding physicians who are highly skilled in patient care and clinical research and committed to maintaining their skills throughout their careers. The fellowship includes rotations through specialized services including a Solid Tumor Service, Leukemia and Lymphoma Service, a Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant Service and Hematology Service. Fellows carry out significant research and have a record of multiple publications. Additional rotations are provided in Transfusion Medicine, Radiation Medicine and Immunopathology. Experience in community hematology and medical oncology is provided at affiliated institutions.
