Dr. Melcer is a graduate of the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY.

Dr. Melcer is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. 

Since completing his fellowship in 2006, Dr. Melcer spent two years as a heart failure and echo attending at Montefiore Medical Center.  For the past three years, Dr. Melcer served the community surrounding White Plains Hospital.  He is also a member of the American College of Cardiology and American Society of Echocardiography.
