Visiting Hours

General visiting hours at Westchester Medical Center have been established to ensure that our patients have adequate time designated for rest and recovery. Exceptions to these hours or additional restrictions may occur depending on a patient's condition and location.

  • In general, visiting hours at Westchester Medical Center are between the hours of 11 a.m. and 9 p.m.

  • Up to two people may visit a patient at one time.

  • Children are welcome visitors, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times and should never be left unattended.

  • Specialized units, such as intensive care, pediatrics and labor and delivery may set different hours and visitor limitations, as determined by patient condition. Please check in at the Information Desk located in the main lobby before going to a patient's room.

As part of the healing process, all patients require periods of solitary rest time throughout the day. Thank you for working cooperatively with the nursing staff when a patient's specific rest time is established.
