MidHudson Regional Hospital and
Mount Kisco Medical Group Announce Partnership
MidHudson Regional Hospital of Westchester Medical Center (MHRH) and Mount Kisco Medical Group (MKMG) today announced a strategic partnership for anesthesia services at the Poughkeepsie hospital.
“We are very excited about our partnership and the opportunity to provide continued high-quality anesthesia services to patients at MidHudson Regional Hospital,” said Scott D. Hayworth, M.D., President and CEO, Mount Kisco Medical Group. “As MidHudson Regional Hospital welcomes additional services and patients to its campus, we are looking forward to being an integral part of their growth and expansion.”
“Mount Kisco Medical Group is well known for its clinical acumen and patient-focused approach, which aligns well with the mission of MidHudson Regional Hospital and Westchester Medical Center,” said Arthur Nizza, DSW, President of MHRH. “This partnership is representative of the expanded level of care and services that we have been talking about in our plans for the future. This should send an important message that we are very serious about ensuring continued access to high-quality programs right here in Poughkeepsie.”
Westchester Medical Center President and CEO Michael Israel said that MKMG was selected after a comprehensive review process, adding “our approach and vision for MHRH is employing and partnering with the best, and that is exactly what we have found with MKMG.”
Nizza said that the Mount Kisco Medical Group partnership will allow for a continuity of clinical staff with the current MHRH anesthesiologists, who are known to the community and staff, remaining in place as part of the new arrangement.
Just last week, surgeons at MHRH performed the nation’s first right upper lobectomy using the latest DaVinci Xi surgical system, only the third such installation in the United States.
