Description
A free educational event for hospital emergency managers, physicians, nurses, hospital employees, EMS, other healthcare professionals and first responders.
Presentation topics will be: Pulmonary Hypertension; Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement; and STEMI.
Goals:
The goal is to present emergency care providers, physicians, nurses and first responders with the information necessary to improve outcomes in the care of patients with cardiovascular disorders.
Objectives:
1. Discuss the most current components of care patients with pulmonary hypertension.
2. Describe the newest and most important aspects of care related to transcatheter aortic valve replacement.
3. Discuss an update on the STEMI protocol.
Continuing Education Information:
Continuing Education Credits are made available through the Hudson Valley Regional EMS Councils. CME documentation will be provided to pre hospital providers for both the Hudson Valley and Westchester Regional EMS Councils.
