Heart Disease is the leading cause of death in women, yet few women know they are at greater risk for this serious disease than men. Girls' Night Out will give women the chance to chase away the winter blues and come together as only they can to have fun for a very serious cause: heart disease. The event, benefits the hospital's cardiovascular center, Westchester Heart & Vascular.

A Day for Hearts

Valentine’s Day has always been a good time to mend “broken hearts.” Mid-February is also a perfect time to celebrate the mending of actual hearts and for the eleventh time Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital will host “A Day for Hearts,” a celebration event for children with congenital heart defects.
Heart-warming stories will abound at this reunion of pediatric cardiac surgery patients. Join Maria Fareri Children's Hospital, its pediatric cardiology staff and other pediatric cardiology families for an afternoon of refreshments and fun, children’s activities. Go the Distance Walk
Go the Distance is a walk and family fun day benefiting Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical Center. Thousands of former patients and their grateful families and friends take part in a one-mile, non-competitive walk around the Westchester Medical Center campus. After the walk, there will be live entertainment, games, and activities for all ages.

8th Annual 100.7 WHUD Children's Miracle Network Radiothon
For more than 30 hours over the course of three consecutive days, the Steven A. Galef Lobby of Maria Fareri Children's Hospital serves as the on-air studio for 100.7 WHUD-FM personalities as the station plays host to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals radiothon benefiting the hospital and the seriously ill children under its care.

Li'l Champions Burn Survivors Day
It takes a special child, a true champion, to "heal" from a significant burn.
