Pediatric Endocrinology
The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient consultation, treatment and management for children living with a variety of endocrine disorders.
Our facility is approved as a Newborn Screening Treatment Center for Endocrine Diseases by the state of New York, and also maintains a state-funded Lead Poisoning Program which provides management and treatment of lead poisoning and counseling and education for parents. Our Lead Poisoning Program includes safe housing in apartments in Yonkers and Newburgh, NY for families whose homes are undergoing abatement for lead poisoning.
