We offer numerous seminars that reflect the partnership among the centrally located educators and the clinical division-based nurse specialists. Patient-centered care, interdisciplinary team work, evidence-based practice, quality outcomes and the integration of informatics are emphasized throughout these course offerings.  Our programs are flexible, which gives our staff the option of choosing a class convenient to their work and home life.

The Nursing Professional Development Department is an approved provider of Nursing Continuing Education Contact hours through the New York State Nurses Association and many of our programs offer contact hour credits. We also offer several online learning opportunities through the hospitals e-learning platform.
