Saturday, May 10, 2014
Ritz Carlton Hotel
White Plains, NY
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM EST
“Finding Success with Heart Failure” is a Westchester Medical Center Continuing Medical Education (CME) conference that will provide participants with an update on cardiac failure. This update will include a review of etiologies, natural history, treatment and “advanced therapies” pertaining to the field. Attendees will be able to broaden their understanding of the spectrum of the disease process, as well as gain an understanding of the newest advances in the field while also looking into the future. The faculty will include heart failure, electrophysiology and cardiac surgery medical professionals. Several interesting and challenging cases will be presented and discussed in an interactive format between the audience and the faculty.
“Finding Success with Heart Failure” has a single objective: to provide an educational platform on cardiac failure in a comprehensive program that includes interactive case presentations offered by experts in the field. The conference will provide an annual opportunity for nurses, residents, fellows and attending cardiologists to update their knowledge of this disease process. Topics includes investigational pharmacological protocols, mechanical support, complex cardiac surgery and cardiac transplant. As an academic medical center dedicated to educating medical professionals and providing basic and advanced therapies to patients with cardiac failure in New York’s Hudson Valley region and beyond, Westchester Medical Center is uniquely suited to organize and implement this conference.
