Non-healing Wounds

About 15% of people with diabetes suffer from non-healing wounds.

Diabetics are at a greater risk than non-diabetics of developing chronic wounds because of poor circulation, slow healing times, vascular disease and neuropathy, or numbness. Preventing infections and taking proper care of wounds, cuts, scrapes and bruises are critical for those with diabetes.

If you are dealing with a non-healing wound, HealthAlliance Hospital’s Wound Healing Center may be right for you. Call there 845.334.4325.
