Neuroradiologists are highly trained physicians who have completed diagnostic radiology residency training as well as additional subspecialty fellowship training. At Westchester Medical Center, each of our neuroradiologists has received extensive training in this highly complex subspecialty. Our goal is to help provide superior patient care through diagnosis and collaboration regarding imaging and treatment options. We provide a full array of innovative diagnostic imaging modalities and procedures that can identify the primary pathology underlying patients’physical signs and symptoms.
Michael Tenner, M.D. | Attending Physician | Section Chief
Dr. Michael Tenner is the Director of the Division of Neuroradiology at Westchester Medical Center and Professor of Radiology and Neurosurgery at New York Medical College. Dr. Tenner’s interests include stroke, carotid stenosis, cerebral aneurysm, arterial venous malformations, brain and central nervous system disease and tumor evaluations.
Shalabh Bobra, M.D. | Attending Physician
Dr. Shalabh Bobra is an attending Neuroradiologist at Westchester Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Radiology at New York Medical College. Dr. Bobra received his training at the University of Minnesota Medical School and fellowship training in Neuroradiology at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology with a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Neuroradiology. Dr. Bobra’s interests include the use of advanced CT and MRI techniques in the evaluation of stroke, brain tumors, epilepsy and multiple sclerosis and pediatric brain disorders.
||Hasit Mehta, M.D. | Attending Physician
Dr. Hasit Mehta is an attending Neuroradiologist at Westchester Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Radiology, Neurosurgery and Neurology at New York Medical College. Dr. Mehta received his training at SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine and fellowship training in Neuroradiology at New York Presbyterian Hospital – the Neurological Institute of New York, Columbia University, New York, NY. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology with a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Neuroradiology. Dr. Mehta’s interests include advanced MR imaging including MR perfusion, MR spectroscopy, diffusion tensor imaging and functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
