Stroke and Cerebrovascular Specialists
The Neurovascular Institute offers Comprehensive Stroke and Cerebrovascular treatment that serves the Hudson Valley and beyond, providing emergency stroke and neurovascular services 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week.
We are the only comprehensive stroke and cerebrovascular center in the region and one of only a few in the United States offering comprehensive neurovascular care. Air or ground transportation is available to help facilitate patient transfers.
Our new, state-of-the-art flat panel detector, biplane, 3-dimensional interventional neuroradiology suite—the only one of its kind in the Hudson Valley—is specially designed for the treatment of neurovascular disease. In addition, dedicated Stroke and Neuroscience Intensive Care Units provide the most advanced neurocritical care.
A multidisciplinary neurovascular center team of neurosurgeons, neurologists, diagnostic and interventional neuroradiologists, critical care intensivists and anesthesiologists provide highly specialized care for all aspects of neurovascular disease. Our physicians have access to the latest technologies and use the most advanced techniques to provide patients with the best care possible.
Our neurovascular center physicians work closely with referring physicians and provide a rapid and thorough evaluation of patients with all neurovascular disorders. Each patient's case is discussed at a neurovascular conference, where a personalized treatment plan is developed based on the individual patient's needs.
