Resident Life

Where Our Residents Live

Our residents live throughout the New York metropolitan area. The location of our hospital allows for convenient commutes from all areas of Westchester County, New York City, northern New Jersey, and southwestern Connecticut.

Residents living in New York City enjoy a surprisingly fast reverse-commute, driving opposite the direction of traffic, and can reach the hospital in as little as 30 minutes.

Life In Westchester County

Nestled within the Hudson Valley north of New York City, Westchester County offers a wide range of activities for residents who choose to live here. The County is also conveniently located for easy trips into New York City (by car or the Metro North commuter train system, which has stops in every town) or north to the great outdoors of Upstate New York. Westchester has its own airport, allowing residents to avoid the traffic and crowds of nearby JFK, Newark and LaGuardia. For more about Westchester see list of activities below or see Westchester Magazine for the most recent “Best of Westchester” rankings.
