The Department of Dental Medicine at Westchester Medical Center is a full-service oral health department providing comprehensive dental care to children and adults. Our services extend beyond basic dental care and include expert treatment in endontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, pediatric dentistry, periodontics and prosthodontics.

Maintaining your oral health is an important part of your healthcare routine – good dental hygiene has been proven to play a role in maintaining overall physical health. The Dentistry Department at Westchester Medical Center offers a full range of dental services to adults and children.

  • Endodontic Treatment
Commonly associated with root canal procedures, endodontic treatment addresses tooth pulp diseases and conditions which arise as a result of those diseases.
  • Restorative Dentistry
Our comprehensive dental rehabilitation provides services to patients in need of oral prostheses and implants. Our advanced care and experienced staff are the first choice for restorative dentistry for the most severe cases in our region.
  • Pediatric Dentistry
Our Pediatric Dentists are specially trained to diagnose and treat dental conditions in children with a compassionate non-threatening approach. Our goal is to ensure a positive dental experience for our youngest patients.
  • Periodontics
Diseases affecting the supporting structures of teeth such as the gingiva, periodontal membrane and alveolar bone are treated with both surgical and non-surgical approaches by board-certified periodontists with extensive clinical training and experience.
  • Ryan White Division
Our department provides safe and effective dental services and treatment for adult and pediatric HIV-positive and AIDS patients.
  • Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Our department treats diseases involving the face, jaws, and related structures and, as part of a Level 1 Trauma hospital, is available to provide emergency oral and maxillofacial surgery to trauma victims as needed.
  • Westchester Institute for Human Development
Our commitment to providing comprehensive oral treatment to our patients extends to developmentally disabled adults and children. By providing expert care in a compassionate and caring environment, we are able to ensure a positive and effective dental experience for those who may otherwise be unable to find appropriate care.
