Introduction

This two-day course will feature a combination of didactic lectures, live cases, and the opportunity to round on the patients the morning following the procedures. A unique opportunity to learn alcohol septal ablation techniques step-by-step from a nationally distinguished faculty.

Objectives

  • Discuss indications and patient selection for alcohol septal ablation.
  • Identify the complications of alcohol septal ablation.
  • Discuss best practices, procedural steps, and use of contrast echo for alcohol septal ablation.
  • Discuss post-procedural management of alcohol septal ablation patients.

The conference is designed for Interventional cardiologists and their team, cath lab techs, sonographers, physician’s assistants, and cardiovascular nurse practitioners and specialists caring for patients with cardiovascular disease.
