Course Description:

The Breast conference will address current approaches to the management of breast cancer.

Speakers Include:

Dr. John Rescigno, MD

Dr. Lori Anderson, MD

Dr. Ramon Rivera, MD

Tatyana Zakharenko, CMN,NP

This conferences is open to all health care workers involve in breast cancer care.

The conferences will focus on new AJCC staging of breast cancer.  Breast cancer genetics, radiation and weight management.

The goal is to update health care team knowledge’s and clinical practice in their management of Breast Cancer.

Conference Objectives:

  • Understand new changes to AJCC staging for breast cancer and how this changes patient’s management
  • Understand how radiation treatment increases survival rates
  • Understanding how weight affect cancer risk
  • Understanding genetic predisposition for cancer
  • Recognizing the importance of keeping abreast with new and current NCCN changes in the management of breast cancer
