Dr. Con is an Attending in the Department of Surgery, Division of Surgery, Surgical Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active researcher with numerous publications. He is the Program Director for the Department of Surgery Residency Program. Dr. Con is a recipient of the Appreciation Award from President Barack Obama for the medical care provided during the January 8th, 2011 Tucson shooting as well the Cornerstone Award 2014 and 2015 from the John Michael Moore Trauma Center.
