Adult Liver Transplant
Liver transplantation has become an accepted therapy for end stage liver disease in both adults and children, as well as for certain hepatic malignancies. Careful preparation of potential candidates, followed by close, individualized follow-up care, requires a dynamic team of healthcare individuals.
The Liver Transplant Program at WMC offers a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approach to the patients with end stage liver disease and transplantation, provided by the same team of healthcare professionals before, during, and after transplant.
How to schedule your evaluation: To have a physician make a referral for an evaluation, or for more information, please call the Liver Transplant Program at 914-493-8916.
The Transplant Center is located in the Behavioral Health Center, A Wing-Lower Level, 20 Hospital Road on the campus of Westchester Medical Center.
